In a small apartment the opposite law applies: every extra object "eats" the space. Dried flowers can either save the day or ruin it.
Rules
- One point per zone. 25–35 sqm studio has ~3 zones (bedroom, living, kitchen). One decor point each, max.
- Vertical over horizontal. Horizontal surfaces are scarce. Decor should go up, not wide.
- Tone on tone. Small rooms already have many colors. Dried flowers should match walls/furniture, not add new ones.
Ideas that work
- One big pampas plume in a corner
- Micro composition on coffee table
- Single branch above the bed
- Mini bouquet on kitchen windowsill
- Wall hoop in the hallway instead of art
Don't
Large centerpieces on the dining table (it's your only work surface), decorative branches on book shelves (visual noise), multiple small pieces everywhere.
